Sid was a loving father, and grandfather, once you met him you never forgot him. He had so much love for his family, and they had so much love for him. His legacy is the 6 children who are a credit to him, he should be so proud, well I know he was. He also had 10 grandchildren, who really melowed him out, he took so much pleasure from having them around him, and in return the looked up to him and loved him. He leaves behind his loving wife Lyn, he couldnt of asked for a better wife. They loved fishing together, and took many camping holidays with there children and grandchildren. I could write a book of funny anecdotes about sid. He was funny without realising it. He had a lot of good friends who will miss him. He also did voluntary work for age concern even though he needed more help the the pensioners he was helping. He go pleasure out of helping others. Anyway sid, good night and god bless. We all love you an will all miss you every day. Hope your having fun up there with all your mates who passed before you. Loads of love x x x x PS keep moaning lol x x x

Hi dad, its hard to say how I feel, but I know you were the best dad, who stood by me when others didn't. The times we had when it was just me and you against the world, were hard times, but you were there for me, and cared for me. I have so many happy,funny memories of those days, and the days when you met Lyn and she became my mum. Who was more of a mum than my natural mum, I can never forget the kindness she showed me, and the brothers and sister she gave me.
Some of your antics still make me laugh now, and I will always remember them, and laugh at the memories you left behind.
you loved your family, and doted on your grandchildren, you left a massive legacy, and a massive hole in so many peoples lives. But I know that you will be there and watching over us all. Hope you have met up with all the special friends you lost.
Anyway dad, will always remember you with a smile, and a tear. You were special, you were loved by me and all your children. God bless until we meet again. Colin x x x x x x
